Nurses Will Give Shots At Four Clinics

The Montgomery County Health Department's immunization and blood pressure clinics for November are as follows:

Wednesday, Nov. 5, 9 - 11:30 a.m., Montgomery County Health Department (WIC), Taylor Springs

Thursday, Nov. 6, 9 - 11:30 a.m., Health Department Litchfield Satellite Office, 317 West Union Street; 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., Raymond Village Hall

Thursday Nov. 13, 10 - 11 a.m., Nokomis Knights of Columbus Hall

Parents must bring a copy of their child's previous immunization records. Illinois Department of Public Aid recipients must bring their medical cards. To comply with state regulations, the fee is now $10 per vaccination.

Anyone wishing to have his/her blood pressure checked may come to any of these locations. Donations will be accepted for blood pressure readings.

Only persons 18 and older may sign for immunizations. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. If a child is accompanied by an adult (over 18), a signed permission slip from the parent or guardian is needed.

The only exception is when the parent is under 18; they may sign for their child.
