Churches To Host Thanksgiving Meal

If you won't have family around on Thanksgiving, or do have family and prefer not to cook, plan to attend the annual free Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the K.C. Hall on Rt. 185 in Taylor Springs.

This is the 17th year for the community-wide celebration, and all are welcome to attend. Reservations are not required. The event is sponsored by churches of the Hillsboro area.

If you are unable to travel to the K.C. Hall, deliveries will be made to shut-ins only. If you would like to attend but need transportation, volunteers will be happy to pick you up.

For either of the above situations, call the United Methodist Church at 532-3734 on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. before Thanksgiving Day. You may also call the K.C. Hall on Thanksgiving at 532-5194.
