Adam William Hindle, 36, of Hillsboro died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at 8:55 p.m. in Hillsboro.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. A  memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home with the Rev. James Hayes, pastor of St. James Baptist Church in Hillsboro, officiating.

Mr. Hindle was born in Peoria on March 29, 1979, the son of Larry and Nancy (Merna) Hindle of Hillsboro.

He lived in Hillsboro his entire life and was a carpenter. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1997 and studied at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hindle is survived by his companion, Casey Matthews; son, Sawyer Hindle of Hillsboro; sister, Elise (husband Andy) Kindernay of Hillsboro; niece, Albany Kindernay of Hillsboro; and maternal grandfather, William Merna of Canton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandparents.

Memorials may be made to the Taylor Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
