Alexis Sue O'Brien-Cordani, 66, of Lake St. Louis, MO, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, in St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 20, from 4-7 p.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home in Pana, with funeral services following at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bert H. Eickhoff officiating.   Burial will be Friday in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria. 

She was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Peoria, the daughter of Alexander and Mary Helen (Percefull) Kulai.  She was raised in Peoria and was a graduate of Woodruff High School there with the class of 1966.  She moved around to several places throughout her life with her first husband and moved to St. Louis for her work in 1997.    She worked in marketing for the health care industry and computer software companies.  She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and loved animals.

She married Michael J. O'Brien and he preceded her in death. She then married Joe Cordani on Nov. 19, 2005, in Nokomis and he survives in Lake St. Louis, MO.

She is also survived by sons Chad (wife Kelli) Cordani of Springfield and Tim (wife Becky)Cordani of Springfield; two grandchildren, Aaron and Adrianna Cordani; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Thomas K. (wife Mayola) Dean of Pana, Beverley Sue Virden of Springfield, Toni (husband Rodger) Leigh of Witt, Melvert C. (wife Sharon) Cordani of Litchfield, Eileen "WeeGee" (husband Dan) Kinkelaar of Witt, Max (wife Lori) Montgomery of Colmesneil, TX, Bill (wife Nancy) Moreland of Copperas Cove, TX, and Emily Battin of Raymond; several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Pam Clay-Turlly; and her poodle, Beamer.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvert R. & Tressa Lovell Cordani.
