Beth Louise Niehaus, 53, of Butler died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 5:23 a.m. at her residence in Butler.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Mt. Olive Turner Hall in Mt. Olive. Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Niehaus was born on Sept. 7, 1962, in St. Louis, the daughter of Walter David Kroeger and the late Jeanine Rose (Stamer) Kroeger. She married Dennis Lee Niehaus on Nov. 15, 1986, at Good Sheppard United Church of Christ in St. Charles, MO, and he survives in Butler.

She attended Blackhurst Elementary School in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School with the class of 1980. She then proceeded to Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, MO, receiving her bachelor's degree in geography in 1985.

Mrs. Niehaus was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Litchfield. She was currently a programmer at WSMI radio in Litchfield and formerly a travel agent at Kitty Hawk Travel. She was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Turner Hall.

She loved solo country cruises in her car taking in nature and she enjoyed NASCAR with her husband. She loved spending time and socializing with family and friends, sad movies always made her cry and spending time and camping at their lot on Lake Lou Yaeger. She was an avid Cardinals fan and loved Yadi.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Niehaus is survived by her father, Walter Kroeger of St. Charles, MO; two brothers, Chuck (Laura) Kroeger and Tim (Christy) Kroeger, both of St. Charles, MO; four sisters, Amy (Roger) McMahill of Loveland, OH, Ann (Dan) Pacewic of Collinsville, Jill (Mark) Wooldridge and Jane (David) Hopkins, both of St. Charles, MO; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
