Cecelia Angela Williams, 94, of Mt. Olive died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Heritage Health of Gillespie.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Williams was born in Mt. Olive on July 24, 1920, the daughter of Otto Victor and Emilia Frances (Hartman) Kirbach. She married Walter Blair Williams on Jan. 29, 1941, in St. Charles, MO, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1997.

She grew up in Mt. Olive and attended school there. She was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Mt. Olive, now St. John Paul II Church.

A homemaker, Mrs. William's favorite leisure activities included Bingo, visiting casinos, traveling and being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Walter Richard (wife Jean) Williams of Hillsboro; sister, Ida Hendrickson of Mt. Olive; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Williams of Hillsboro; and stepgranddaughters, Julie Engelman of Chicago and Jennifer Engelman Johnson of Litchfield.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Wiliams was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph, Otto and Ernest Kirbach; sisters, Ann Leitschuh, Marie Berry, Antoinette Boker, Hattie Reilly, Emma Anderson, Elizabeth Sheppard and Irma Knes.
