Colleen Jane Dealey, 54, of Sorento, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at 3:19 p.m. in Louisville, KY.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Fick officiating.

Mrs. Dealey was born April 3, 1964, in Jamestown, NY, to James and Eileen (Edsel) Klomp. She married Gilbert L. "Gib" Dealey, Jr. on May 20, 1995, in Peoria, and he survives.

She was raised in Hagerstown, MD, and graduated valedictorian of her high school class there. She went on to attend Johns HopkinsĀ  University and earned her bachelor's degree in computer technology from the University of Maryland.

Mrs. Dealey was employed as a process engineer for GRP Mechanical, and served as a co-pastor of We Stand in the Gap church in Sorento.

She loved traveling, music, antiquing and spending time outdoors. She was brilliant, had unwavering faith in her God and was a blessing to many.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dealey is survived by her children, Rachel (husband Andrew) Leetham of Panama and Evan Dealey of Sorento; grandson, Bryson Leetham; a sister, LuAnn Mitchell of West Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and many aunts and uncles.
