Craig Edward Adams, 40, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 6:36 a.m. at his residence.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18,  at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Revisky, pastor of The Christian Church of Litchfield, officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mr. Adams was born in Hillsboro on May 11, 1975, the son of David and Sally (Swain) Adams. He married Sandra Traylor, and they later divorced.

He lived in Litchfield and Hillsboro during his lifetime, graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1993 and attended Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield. He was employed by Variety Built, Adams Construction and Pro-Built Building working in sales, ordering and running crews.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Illinois Kiko Goat Association and American Kiko Goat Association. He loved raising goats and truck pulling.

He is survived by his parents of Hillsboro; two daughters, Sarah Adams and Daisy Adams; one son, Joshua Adams; maternal grandparents, Carl and Lila Swain of Hillsboro; and nieces, Mackenzie Lorene Adams and Alissa Ray Adams, both of Nokomis.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his brother, Curt Williams Adams; and paternal grandparents, George and Lorene Adams.

Memorials may be made to a college fund for his children.
