Cynthia "Cindy" Lea (Shaw)Baker, 57, of Litchfield, died at 10:35 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Wednesday Dec. 2, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Baker was born on Sept. 27, 1958, in Carrollton, a daughter of Gerald E. and Leta (Tobias) Shaw. After high school, she went on to earn her associate's degree.

She married Donald "Donavon" W. Baker II on Jan. 23, 2006, in Hillsboro, and he survives.

She started her working career at International Paper where she worked for eight years and then she was a waitress at both Diamonds Restaurant in Staunton and the Litchfield Country Club for 11 years.

A very spiritual individual, she attended all churches in the area and even kept her prayers in a daily journal. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her animals. She will always be remembered for helping those in need, being generous and kind-hearted.

Along with her husband, Mrs. Baker is survived by her two sons, Tobias (Shannon) Dobrinich and Randy (Meegan) Dobrinich, both of Litchfield; two daughters, Marci (David) Jacobs-Howard and Emily Jacobs, both of Litchfield; 13 grandchildren; seven siblings, Deleta (Ted) Kaliboda of St. Charles, MO, Geraldine (Sonney) Clevenger and Joetta (Mike) McMahon, both of Litchfield, David (Chris) Shaw of Edmund, OK, and Larry (Pat) Shaw, Darrell (Kay) Shaw and Diane (Kevan) Summers, all of Hamel; a sister-in-law, Rita Shaw of Litchfield; and her in laws, Donald W. Baker of Litchfield, Delores Baker of Texas and sister, Diane Baker of Litchfield.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Shaw.
