Devin James Cruthis, 20, of Panama died at 3:23 a.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Hillsboro Area Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the funeral home with the Rev. Troy Hoffman officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama.

Mr. Cruthis was born on Dec. 22, 1994, in Greenville, the son of Kevin M. and Holly A. (Warren) Cruthis. 

He worked for Fred’s Greenhouse in Sorento and loved to hunt, fish and ride four-wheelers. He was a 2013 graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Life Line Fellowship Church in Sorento.

Mr. Cruthis is survived by his father, Kevin (wife Merri) Cruthis of Panama; mother, Holly Huber (companion Ritchie Welzbacher) of Sorento; brothers, Blaine Timo and Case Cruthis, both of Panama, and Mason Huber of Sorento; sisters, Hannah Huber and Morgan Welzbacher, both of Sorento; grandparents, Kenny and Carol Cruthis of Panama, Linda O’Brien and Ned Huber, both of Litchfield, Wayne Warren of Panama, Jonni Warren of Donnellson, Doris Snead and Bill Snead, both of Texas, and Ardell Welzbacher of Sorento; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Jerry O’Brien; stepfather, Matthew Huber; uncle, Wade Snead; and two aunts, Judy O’Brien and Elisa Law.
