Doris M. White, 87, of Nokomis died at 1:45 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2015, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born in Hillsboro on July 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Preston and Golda (Savage) Frame. She married Robert O. White at the Hillsboro Methodist Church on Sept. 5, 1951, and he survives.
She was a farm wife and affiliated with the United Methodist Church in Nokomis. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. White is survived by several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Maxine Frame of Mattoon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert O. Frame.
