Genevie Lorraine Fellers, 98, of Decatur, formerly of Litchfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at 9:59 a.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.

Private family graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at 12 p.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield, with Deacon Leland Johns of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro officiating. Family will gather at 11:45 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield to go in procession to the cemetery.

Mrs. Fellers was born Aug. 25, 1920, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Kenneth A. and Opal F. (Clark) Snow. She married Francis Tal Fellers on Dec. 30, 1938, in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1999.

She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1938. While living in Litchfield, she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Over the years, she worked as a medical office clerk for American Hospital Supply in Kansas City, MO. While living in Texas, she worked as a legal secretary.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards, painting, singing, collecting antiques and spending time with her family.

After retiring, she and her husband owned and operated Treasures and Trivia Antiques in Litchfield.

She is survived by one son, Dennis (Lori) Fellers of Mattoon; two daughters, Peggy (David) Simpson and Fran (Hal) Simpson, all of Decatur; two brothers, Ken Snow of California and Ed Snow of Texas; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Snow; her infant granddaughter, Lisa Simpson; and grandson-in-law, Jake Lessen.
