Goldie Nileene (Kindernay) Barnhill, 86, of Donnellson, died at 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with the Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Donnellson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barnhill was born on Nov. 24, 1928, at Reno, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ora Frances (Glenn) Brewer. She married Barney W. Barnhill on April 29, 2006, at Donnellson, and he survives.
A homemaker, she was a member of Reno Baptist Church who loved raising plants and working word search puzzles.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Barnhill is survived by three daughters, Helen Dobelman of Hillsboro, Nileene Marie Hancock of Donnellson and Dorothy Anne Kruse of Litchfield; three sons, David (Linda) Kindernay of Panama, Joe (Robin) Kindernay of Pawnee and John (fiancée, Meghan) Kindernay of Hillsboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several stepchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials are suggested to Donnellson Cemetery.
