Helen M. Tester, 95, of Litchfield died at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Johnson, minister of Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield, officiating.

Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond.

Mrs. Tester was born on March 3, 1920, in Harvel, the daughter of the late John and Bessie (Harris) Rottinghaus. She married William L. Tester on April 1, 1940, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1968.

She attended Harvel High School and was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. She was a homemaker and enjoyed life on the farm.

Mrs. Tester enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, reading and following up on the farm report. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Gerald L. (Barbara) Tester of Springfield, MO; granddaughter, Dr. Nicole J. (Dr. Jason S. Fromm) Tester of Gainesville, FL; and sister-in-law, Mary (the late William) Rottinghaus.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Tester was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Glenn and William Rottinghaus.
