Jimmy Wayne Mitchusson, 46, of Litchfield died at 9:36 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.
Burial will be in Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery in Dublin, TX, at a later date.
Mr. Mitchusson was born in Ft. Worth, TX, on May 23, 1966, the son of Troy Herbert and Deborah Joyce (Herrell) Mitchusson. He married Tracy Lynn Kellenberger in Springfield on May 23, 1990, and she survives.
He graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Ft. Worth, TX, and received his firefighting and EMT training in Longview, TX.
Mr. Mitchusson was employed as a laborer and foreman for Illinois Paving. In his leisure time, he loved to fish, cook-out and play with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Joyce (husband Raymond) Smith of Hendersonville, NC; six sons, David W. Bannon of Odessa, TX, Christopher Bannon of San Antonio, TX, Jimmy Lee Mitchusson of Mansfield, OH, and Daniel D. Mitchusson, Michael T. Mitchusson and Kyle D. Mitchusson, all of Litchfield; two daughters, Krystal A. (husband John) Robbs of Virden and Tiffany L. Mitchusson (fiance Corey Ellsworth) of Litchfield; five brothers, Harold Tolly of Winston-Salem, NC, Rusty Tolly of Hillsboro, Roy Ash of Cary, NC, Kenneth Hannah of Mt. Sterling and Raymond Smith of Hendersonville, NC; three sisters, Freda Mitchusson of Granbury, TX, Tina Czerniak of Hannibal, MO, and Samantha Hannah of Decatur, AL; and 13 grandchildren.
Mr. Mitchusson was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Deborah Hannah.
