Kenneth P. Rogers, 61, of Panama died at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at Helia Healthcare in Greenville.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Pastor Troy Huffman of Lifeline Fellowship Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Mr. Rogers was born on May 3, 1955, in East St. Louis, the son of Marion and Helen Marie (Powers) Rogers.  

He was employed by Hillsboro Glass Company for 24 years as a machine operator. He then attended Vatterot College and obtained his associate degree and certification in heating and air conditioning, working for several years in the HVAC field.

Mr. Rogers was a member of the Shoal Creek Fire Protection District, attended Lifeline Fellowship Church in Sorento and raised boxers.

He is survived by two sons, Brad (wife Cortney) Rogers of Greenville and Jeremy Rogers of Livingston; four grandchildren, Grady, Griffin, Autumn and Abby; mother and stepfather, Helen and Anthony Lovatto of Sorento; sister, Sherry (husband Charles) Mattox of Springfield, MO; brothers, Charles Rogers of Kentucky, Gene Froman of Alhambra and Antonio (wife Heather) Lovatto of Greenville; and former spouse, Robin Rogers of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his father.
