Funeral Mass for Lawrence "Larry" G. Millburg, 55, of Nokomis, formerly of Germany, are scheduled for Monday, June 29, at 10 a.m. in the St. Louis Catholic Church of Nokomis. Father Dan Willenborg will officiate, and burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery, Morrisonville, with full military rites. The Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Millburg died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 8:10 p.m. in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1960, in Taylorville to Eugene Adam and Maureen Juanita (McLean) Millburg.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, he served in Germany as a jet mechanical engineer/strategic aircraft maintenance specialist.
He is survived by one daughter, Marissa Larae Millburg of Watertown, ND; his mother of Nokomis; siblings Stephen Eugene (Pamela) Millburg, Matthew Kent Millburg, Katherine Rene Millburg, Martin Edward (Sharon) Millburg, Peter John (Joyce) Millburg, Eric Paul (Lynn) Millburg, Linada Anne Fields, and Juanita Lee (Stephen) Maxwell; nieces and nephews, Heida Marie, Casey Terese, Paige Angeline, Jeffry McLean, Eric Paul, Cara Ryan, Dylan Eugene, Dustin Glenn, Hailey Marie, Sean Douglas, and Quintly Rene.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Louis School in Nokomis.
