Linda Lou Marley, 76, of Hillsboro, died at 2:49 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
A visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro after which cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services.
Mrs. Marley was born on Feb. 15, 1939, in Donnellson, daughter of the late Irene M. Compton. She lived in both Donnellson and Hillsboro, and was a Hillsboro High School graduate.
Her first marriage was to Bernard Kaufman and the couple later divorced. She then married Patrick "Pat" Marley on Aug. 24, 1980, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Marley worked as a cutter at DeMoulin's in Greenville and was a faithful volunteer for the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
In her free times, she loved to visit local wineries and go shopping.
Mrs. Marley is survived by two daughters, Malissa Kaufman (companion Richard Horner) of Highland and Heather Marley (companion Joe Rhoades) of Hillsboro.
Memorials may be given to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
