Loann G. Fleming, 86, of Litchfield, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at 3:06 a.m. in St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. The Rev. Fred Kraemer will officiate with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield. 

Visitation will be held Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.

Mrs. Fleming was born on Nov. 24, 1928, in Litchfield the daughter of the late Jesse and Elsie (Oelrichs) Marburger. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1946.

She married Harold Lee Fleming on May 1, 1948, in Zion Lutheran Church, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2011.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield for many years where she participated in Zion Ladies Aid, was a member of the Litchfield Country Club and of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

During her earlier working years, she worked at Illinois Power Co., Litchfield News Herald and Brown Shoe Company.

She then went on to work for Litchfield Community Unit School District #12 where she was secretary to the principal at the junior high school.  

She enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards and traveling.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Mrs. Fleming is survived by two daughters, Jane(Mark) Leitschuh of Troy and Amy (Michael) Trau of Ballwin, MO; two grandchildren, Dan (Debbie) Leitschuh of Columbia and John Leitschuh of Troy; and four great-grandchildren, Steven and Ava Leitschuh and Lucy and Jack Leitschuh

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Lloyd Marburger.

The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield.
