Lois Amy Decker, 93, of Moline died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at Amber Ridge Assisted Living Residence in Moline.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be in Camp Butler Military Cemetery in Springfield on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m.

Wendt Funeral Home in Moline is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Decker was born in Hillsboro on Feb. 26, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles Leroy and Mary Victoria (Bailey) Logsdon.  She married Merlin Decker in Rock Island on March 19, 1949, and he preceded her in death.

A graduate of Hillsboro High School, she was a practicing beautician in the Quad-Cities for many years. She was very involved at the Presbyterian churches in Hillsboro and Coal Valley. She liked arts and crafts, crocheting afghans and sewing quilts. She also enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, and always made lots of homemade jellies. 

Mrs. Decker is survived by her  children, Karl (Penny) Decker of Des Moines, WA, Karon (Chuck) Casillas of Chandler, AZ, and Keith (Marlene) Decker of Rock Island; six grandchildren, Amy Decker, Cari Decker, Renee Grams, Sarah Fielding, Aaron Casillas and Darin Decker; 11 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kayla, Evan, Hannah, Christian, Pippa, Elodie, Brody, Mila, Reagan and Lily; and a sister, Opal Minteer of Moline. 

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
