Mark Tobin Martin, 59, of Sorento died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 11:05 a.m. in Sorento.
His body was donated to science, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Martin was born at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA, on May 2, 1957, the son of Billy (wife Judy) Martin and Patricia (Durbin) Moya, all of Texas. He married Tammy J. May on Oct. 23, 1979, in Ft. Worth, TX, and she survives in Sorento.
During his lifetime, he lived in Hillsboro and Sorento since 1989. He was a laborer and worked at Hayes Abrasives.
Mr. Martin loved to make people laugh and was a fun, loving person. He loved picking up cans, Nascar, the Dallas Cowboys and his children.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his children, Billie Martin, Tobi (husband Tom Law, Jr.) and Jeffi (husband Bill) Callahan; 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin, Joey Traylor, Jamie Traylor, Michael Harmon, Justice Wlasniewski, Dylan Crissie, Maci Harmon, Jersey Wlasniewski, Miley Law, Tommi Law and Tyson Law; a great-grandchild on the way; and siblings, Billy Martin, Kenneth Martin, Lori Martin, Lisa Lopez and Sherry Solang.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ben Moya.
