Mary L. Rosenthal, 88, of Raymond died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Raymond Catholic Church in Raymond. Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 10, at the church with Father G. Bunse officiating.
Burial will be held in St. Raymond Cemetery in Raymond. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rosenthal was born in Harvel on July 8, 1927, the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie (File) Krager. She married Shirlen Rosenthal on Nov. 26, 1947, at St. Raymond Catholic Church in Raymond, and he survives.
She was a farm wife, homemaker and a member of St. Raymond Catholic Church and St. Raymond CCW. She was also past president of the Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the Card Club for 64 years.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rosenthal is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (John) Barto of Raymond; son, Dennis (Julie) Rosenthal of Raymond; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Rosenthal on Oct. 23, 2000, and Larry Rosenthal on May 16, 2006; three brothers, Lawrence, John and Howard; and two sisters, Frances Herman and Celestine “Sally” Lyons.
