Mildred J. "Judy" (Johnson) Rappé, 87, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with her family at her side.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Inurnment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro.

A luncheon will follow in the basement at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.

Mrs. Rappé was born to Everett and Charlotte (Weingand) Johnson on Aug. 4, 1927 in Hillsboro. She married the love of her life, Patrick Rappé of Taylor Springs and the couple moved to Brookfield, WI, in 1964, before retiring to Sebring, FL, in 1986.

Several years after her husband's death, she moved to Warrenville where she resided for 10 years with her son, Tim, until her death.

Mrs. Rappé spent her life in loving service to her husband of 51 years, four children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rappé is survived by her three sons, Rick (Gail) Rappé of Hudson, WI, David Rappé of Hartford, WI, and Tim (Andrea) Rappé of Warrenville; eight grandchildren Jessica, Austin (Daryl), Jed (Ambre), Noah (Mindy), Justin, Timmon, Chance, McGwire; and five great-grandchildren Lorelei, Thor, Josie, Chase and Caiden.

She was preceded in death by  two brothers Earnest Everett "Tiny" Johnson and Carl Cline, a sister, Ruby Marie Mitchell, and her beloved daughter, Lori Ellen Rappé (Brezinski).

In lieu of flowers, it was Judy’s wish that donations be made to the Lori Rappé Women’s Philanthropy Council Great People Scholarship Fund; 1848 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53708. Questions can be directed to Martha Taylor at 608-263-4545.
