Ludmilla A. "Millie" Grimm, 88, of Hillsboro, died at 9:04 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, July 27, at First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Matt Ferguson, pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Monday at the church.  Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Grimm was born on Aug. 22, 1926, in Taylor Springs, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Frkovich) Frkovich.  She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1944 and lived her entire life in Taylor Springs and Hillsboro.

She was a housewife, member of First Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro and loved to decorate.  She participated in weekly quilting at the church and was a very good cook.

She married Melvin R. Grimm on July 28, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2007.

She is survived by three children, Gerry (husband David) Hamblin of Hillsboro, Martha Jane (husband Cecil) Cope of Bartlett, TN, and John Ross (wife Terry) Grimm of Capron; eight grandchildren, Julia (husband Blake) Malloy, Claire (husband Paul) Perfetti, Lorrie (husband Michael) Billings, Geoffery Cope, Daniel (wife Stephanie) Grimm, Brian (wife Tonya) Grimm, Rebecca Grimm and Sheila (husband Aaron) Moore; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Frkovich of Costa Mesa, CA; and a sister, Olga Sturgeon of Springfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas H. Grimm, on Aug. 22, 2007; a brother, Frank Frkovich; and sisters Charlotte Johnson, Cora McGuire and Mary Bullard.
