A memorial service for Paula Jo Duff, 63, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Hillsboro, will be held Thursday, July 16, at 2 p.m. in the Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home of Hillsboro. The Rev. Ralph Ward will officiate, and burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery, Atwater. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Duff died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in her daughter's home in Wichita, KS. She was born to Joe and Mary (Beckett) Schmuck on Aug. 11, 1951, and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1969.
She married Steve Duff on Nov. 6, 1970, in Litchfield; he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2006. Her parents and one brother, Dennis Schmuck, also preceded her.
She is survived by one son, Aaron (wife Jamie) Duff of Hillsboro; one daughter, Marla (husband Brandon) Bentz of Wichita, KS; three grandchildren, Lacie and Zane Duff of Hillsboro and Luke Taylor of Wichita, KS; three step-grandchildren, Brittney, Andrew and Mason Bentz, also of Wichita, KS; and one sister, Pam Lucash of Oklahoma.
For a time she worked at the Roller Derby Factory in Litchfield.
