Regina Nail, 90, of Litchfield died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Heritage Manor in Litchfield.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in November. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nail was born on Jan. 26, 1925, in Litchfield, the daughter of the late Mike and Katherine (Semplowski) Funk. She married Lee Nail on Nov. 1, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 2004.
She worked at the Brown Shoe Co. and Illinois Consolidated Telephone Co., both in Litchfield. She enjoyed dancing and quilting.
Mrs. Nail is survived by one son, Ted (wife Kathy) Nail of Birmingham, AL; one daughter, Janet Ray of Cape Coral, FL; one grandson, Brian Green of Cape Coral, FL; granddaughters, Sarah Nail of Birmingham, AL, and Kara Nail of Orlando, FL; one great-grandson, Barak Dunlap of Orlando, FL; brothers, Mike (wife Nancy) of Litchfield and Joe (wife Carol) of Mt. Olive; sisters, Helen Zimmerman of Dublin, OH, and Sophia Southworth, Edna (husband Floyd) Nail and Kate (husband Jack) White House, all of Litchfield; three nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Frank, Walter, Louie and Charlie; one sister, Stephanie; sister-in-law, Louise Laird; and two brothers-in-law, Oran and Leonard Nail.
