Robert "Bob" L. Everett, 64, of Hillsboro died Friday, May 20, 2016, in St. Louis University Hospital.
No funeral services are planned; the Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Everett was born on June 5, 1951, to George and Alice (Denton) Everett. He served as a custodian for the Hillsboro School District for over 25 years and became a lieutenant in the Hillsboro Auxiliary Police. He attended the Panama Methodist Church, and he loved riding motorcycles and his family.
He married Deanna Eccles on Dec. 17, 1976, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Heather (spouse Nia) Everett-Mehlberg) of Hillsboro; one stepson, Darrin Hutter of Hillsboro; one brother, Marvin Everett of Hillsboro; four sisters, Rosemary (husband Earl, Sr.) Johnson of Litchfield, Dorothy (husband Ernie) Hall of Coffeen, Maxine Michaelis of Hillsboro and Charlotte (husband Jerry, Sr.) Evans of Raymond.
His parents; three brothers, Kenny, George "Junior" and Steven Everett; and two sisters, Marjorie Rickfelder and an infant, preceded him in death.
