Sheridan Paige Compton, 22, of Walshville, died at 10:36 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, in Fayette County from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with the Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in rural Greenville.
Miss Compton was born on July 24, 1992, in Litchfield, the daughter of Kristy Compton.
Miss Compton is survived by her mother in Litchfield; two daughters, Kiara Aikens and Carly Compton, both of Greenville; two sisters, Lauren Hancock of Litchfield and Savannah Hall of Arkansas; three brothers, Tristen Hancock and Maxwell Roach, both of Litchfield, and Zakaree Masterman of Illinois; grandmother, Nancy Moore of Walshville; grandfather, Ricky (wife, Barbara) Compton of Carlinville; paternal great-grandparents, Dale and Wilma Compton of Pocahontas; and many aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grea- grandparents, Charles and Barbara Maxwell.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children or Spinal Bifida Association.
