Shirley D. Snow, 68, of Nokomis died at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015, in her residence.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at the Faith Community Worship Center in Taylorville. Pastor Jerry Thorpe will officiate, and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Visitation at the Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.
Mrs. Snow was born on July 15, 1946, in Taylorville to Dwight and Marjorie (Ellrich) Hendricks. She married Tommy Lee Snow, Sr.; and he preceded her in death in 1976.
Her parents and one grandson, Tyler Snow, also preceded her.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Lee (wife Angela) Snow, Jr. of Nokomis and Robert Lee (wife Robin) Snow of Taylorville; two daughters, Shari Lyn Riech of New Berlin and Stephanie Rena Snow of Nokomis; nine grandchildren, Amanda Kay Snow, Amanda Katherine Hernandez, Kristal Margaret Price, Brandon Lee Snow, Mikayla Page Snow, Hannah Nicole Riech, Matthew Root, Madisyn Leigh Snow, and Brandon Lane; and two brothers, David (wife Janet) Hendricks and Ronald (wife Sue) Hendricks, all of Taylorville.
A member of the Faith Community Worship Center in Taylorville, she enjoyed art, embroidering, shopping and her animals. She especially loved her family, cherishing her grandchildren.
