Susan L. Casey, 61, of Hillsboro, died on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Casey was born on Aug. 18, 1955, in Litchfield, to Keith and Joyce (Roach) Bellott. She married Sam Casey on July 26, 1975, and he survives.
She was raised in Texas and graduated high school in Texarkana, TX. She has lived in Hillsboro since she was 18 years old.
Mrs. Casey worked at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Environmental.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Stan (Kimberly) Casey and Steve (special friend, Heather Wilson) Casey; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as two brothers, Tim Bellott and Mike Bellott.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
