Timothy Warren Flowers, Sr., 62, of Thompsons Station, TN, formerly of Vandalia died at 9:04 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Shelby County.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo. Memorial services will follow at 8 p.m. with Tony Flowers officiating. 

Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore. 

Mr. Flowers was born on April 5, 1953, in Vandalia, the son of the late Warren B. "Goog" and Julia A. "Judy" (Wilson) Flowers. He married Susie Rhodes-Voils on Oct. 26, 1996, in Pekin, and she survives in Thompsons Station, TN.

He loved God, his family, fishing and woodworking.  He retired from the Coffeen Power Plant and was currently employed as an electrician with Transocean Deepwater, Inc.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Flowers is survived by four sons, Tim Flowers, Jr., (companion Courtney) of Effingham, Trent Lilly of Beecher City, Josh (wife Angie) Flowers of Nokomis and Kyle Voils of Chicago; four daughters, Dusti (husband Jason) Reese of Davenport, IA, Jenn Lilly of St. Elmo, Tiffany Flowers of Arizona and Dani Flowers of Thompsons Station, TN; one brother, Tony (wife Teresa) Flowers of Vandalia; one  sister, Kathy (husband Don)  Sanders of Vandalia; sister-in-law,  Nancy Flowers of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Garrett,  Lilly, Dakota, Haley, Carlie, Xaden, Maddy, Madison, Makenna, Landon, Gracie, Ben, Gabe, Carter, Chloe and Aaron; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Flowers; and brother-in-law, Mike Marks

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Fillmore or to the family.
