William Waldo Jenkins, 77, of Elizabethtown died Thursday, May 15, 2015, at Baptist Health of Paducah, KY.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Elizabethtown on Jan. 12, 1938, the son of the late William Cecil and Golden Gertrude (Barnerd) Jenkins. He married Robbie Pennell, and she survives in Elizabethtown.
He had worked as a manager for Western Auto in Hillsboro 41 years ago. In 1974, he moved his family back to Hardin County and built a log home for them. He was a member of the Peters Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jenkins is survived by his sons, Joe (Tammy) Jenkins of Elizabethtown and Danny Jenkins (friend Pam) of Rosiclare; grandsons, T.J. (wife Candice) Jenkins of Norris City and William Taylor Jenkins; granddaughters, Amber (Ryan) Frailey and Kenzi Rae Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Brynden Jenkins; sisters, Linda (Tim) Stanley of Cave In Rock and Elladee Bee of Vacaville, CA; and brother, Mitchell (Brenda) Jenkins of Elizabethtown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Donithan, Jerry Jenkins and Michael Jenkins; and sisters, Frieda Gentry and Rose Mary Jenkins.
