William Logue, Sr., 86, of Staunton died at 9:02 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Staunton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow visitation on Friday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.

Mr. Logue was born in Charleston on March 3, 1928, the son of Ellis and Opal (Matlock) Logue. He married Mary Manning, and they later divorced. She preceded him in death.

He was a bodyman with Fisher Body, a division of General Motors in St. Louis for 35 years.

Mr. Logue is survived by nine children, Mary (husband John) Doght of Mt. Olive, Bill (wife Shelly) Logue of Hamel, Linda Harbaugh of Mt. Clare, Phyllis Bandy of Staunton, Dan Logue of Millstadt, Larry (wife Ethel) Logue of Abingdon, Kenny (wife Pam) Logue of New Douglas, Becky Pifer of Litchfield and Nancy (husband Jeff) Patzius of Staunton; sister, Barb (husband Bob) Clark of Arcola; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and former wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Odle; brothers, John and Jim Logue; and sisters, Norma Beavers and Francis Walker.

Memorials may be made to Celtic Hospice of Carlinville.
