Wilma Ann Ott, 89, of Peoria died at 5:16 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary in Peoria. There will be no service. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of ashes will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro at a later date.
Mrs. Ott was born on Nov. 11, 1926, in Greenville to the late John H. and Adaline Mullen. She married Kenneth L. Ott on May 6, 1946, in Kansas City, MO, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Mullen and Sonny Mullen.
She is survived by her children, Edward Ott, Thomas Ott, Sally (Jerry) Armstrong, and John (Crystal) Ott all of Peoria; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Winkler, Zachary Armstrong, Jeremy Armstrong, Luke Ott, Jake Ott, Drew Ott and Jennifer Ott; and one great-grandchild, Bjorn K. Winkler.
She had worked as a bookkeeper for over 50 years, last working at Illini Golf. She was known as the family caregiver and loved to spend quality time with her family. She also loved to read in her free time.
