Leslie Crafton, 51, of Springfield, formerly of Beardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, in his home.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, at 12 p.m. in Beardstown City Cemetery. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is assisting the family.
Mr. Crafton was born April 29, 1968, in Beardstown, the son of Richard Robert and Lettie (Hagerty) Crafton.
A 1987 graduate of Beardstown High School, he worked in construction his whole life and was a jack-of-all-trades.
In addition to his mother, Lettie Crafton of Springfield, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Knous (fiance Bryan Thurman) of Virginia; four grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Lucas and Charles; his partner, Wanda Knight; four brothers, Richard (wife Sue) Crafton of Hillsboro, Michael Crafton of Springfield, Daryl (wife Sandy) Crafton of Springfield and Terry Crim of Quincy; one sister, Becky (husband George) Bishop of Mt. Sterling; and his best bud, Jacob Burell.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Raymond Crafton.
