The South Macoupin Association for Special Education is seeking three Classroom Assistants for immediate employment. The locations of the positions are the Staunton Junior High school, Gillespie High School and Ben-Gil Elementary. If you do not currently hold a Paraprofessional License, you may obtain the license if you meet the following criteria:

Be at least 19 years of age and;

Show proof of one (1) of the following requirements:

Associate’s degree or higher; or

60 semester hours of coursework; or

High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS ParaPro test; or

High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT Work Keys test:

Applied Mathematics/Applied Math — 4

Reading for Information/Workplace Documents — 4
