According to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), 3,513 COVID-19 vaccination booster doses have been administered in Montgomery County as of Wednesday, Dec. 1.
IDPH reports that 14,451 county residents have been vaccinated with at least one dose, and 13,180 (46.12 percent) of the county’s population are fully vaccinated. That includes 4.71 percent of those aged 5-11, who just became eligible for the Pfizer vaccine on Nov. 19.
The Montgomery County Health Department continues walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics every Monday and Thursday at the main office, located at 11191 Illinois Route 185 in Hillsboro between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The health department posted 23 new positive test results on Nov. 23, ten on Nov. 24, seven on Nov. 25, six on Nov. 26, 11 on Nov. 27, three on Nov. 28, and 33 on Nov. 29.
