Alberta Erlene Rau, 77 of Panama, died at 11:44 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with the Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rau was born on Oct. 22, 1937, in Sorento, the daughter of Loretta (McGibany) Wall and the late Albert Wall. She married Marvin O. Rau on March 2, 1957, at Sorento, and he preceded her in death.
She previously worked for Moto Mirror of Houston, TX, as an assembler.
Mrs. Rau is survived by two sons, Brian (companion Kelly) Rau of Houston, TX, and Todd (wife Georgia) Rau of Walshville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Loretta "Letty" Wall of Sorento; two sisters, Charlene Perfetti and Maxine (husband Jerry) Milanos, both of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene K. Chambless, and a brother, Garry E. Wall.
