Ada Jane (Furness) Walters Dahler, 93, of Hillsboro, died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dahler was born July 27, 1927, in Irving, to Clarence and Mildred (Grantham) Furness. She married John Walters, and he preceded her in death. She then married Edward Dahler, and he preceded her in death.
She graduated from Hillsboro High School and worked at Hillsboro Hospital for over 33 years.
Mrs. Dahler is survived by her son, David (Lorraine) Walters of Granite City; two daughters, Charlene (James) Kenny and Marlene Maguire, both of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons-in-law, Carl Puckett and Arthur Maguire; a grandson, Stuart Maguire; and two great-grandchildren in infancy.
