Adam Louis Brown, 29, of Staunton, died on  Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Staunton, with Pastor Debbie Jo Atkins officiating. Cremains will be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born on July 31, 1992, in Litchfield, the son of Jim and Leanne (Wray) Brown. He graduated from Staunton High School Class of 2010. Mr. Brown later graduated from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville with the class of 2015. He worked as a Bartender at Skeeter’s Bar in Staunton.

Mr. Brown is survived by his parents; two brothers, Andrew (Allie) Brown of Staunton and Eric (Surbhi Jain) Brown  of Coralville, IA; paternal grandmother, Mary Lee Brown of Staunton; maternal grandmother, Joy Wray of Staunton; two aunts, Lisa (Ken) Simpson of Sunset Hills, MO and Cindy (Joe) Pirok of Staunton; one uncle, Louis (Lori) Wray of Lake St. Louis, MO; one nephew, Jack Brown of Staunton; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James Brown; and maternal grandfather, Louis Wray.
