Albert Joseph “Buddy” Lewiski, 69, of Nokomis, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced by the family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be accorded.
Mr. Lewiski was born June 8, 1957, in Pana, the son of Albert and Beulah (Christian) Lewiski. He spent his working life building things, first in construction and later as a boilermaker.
Mr. Lewiski is survived by his daughter, Dessie Bird of Summersville, MO; his son, A.J. Lewiski of southeastern Missouri; his sister, Sharon Carlock of Nokomis; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Mabel (Stephens) Christian and George and Frances (Yazumb) Lewiski; his parents, Albert and Beulah Lewiski; his brothers, Robert and Gregory Lewiski; his sister, Alberta Lewiski; his brother-in-law, Robert Carlock; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
