Alice Marie Pinkston, 84, of Gillespie, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
No public services will be held at this time. Kravanya Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Pinkston was born Aug. 26, 1936, in Gillespie, to Dewey George Raynor and Wilhelmina “Wilma” (Taylor) Raynor Perrine. She married Byron Gene Pinkston on May 19, 1956, in Troy, MO, and he survives.
A factory worker for DuraCraft, she was a former EMT. She was a member of the Christian Church of Litchfield.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Darrell (companion Tammy Lambright) Pinkston of Gillespie; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Pinkston of Gillespie; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sibling, Leo (Eva) Raynor of Gillespie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Steven Pinkston and Brian K. Pinkston; daughter, Jean Marie Pinkston; granddaughter, Desiree Pinkston; and great-granddaughter, Angelique.
