Amel John Pesko, 100, of Litchfield, died on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at Timber Creek Village in Litchfield.
No services will be held. Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro. Litchfield Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pesko was born on Jan. 19, 1925, in Taylor Springs, a son of John Andrew and Elizabeth Soffa Pesko. He graduated from Hillsboro High School with the class of 1943. He married Frances Miller on July 23, 1946. He was a laborer at the smelting company, ARCO, in Hillsboro.
He is survived by his son, John (Carolyn) Pesko of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Dr. Bryan Pesko and Leslie Pesko; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Pesko was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; daughter, Dana Pesko; and three siblings.
Memorials may be made to a recipient of the donor’s choice.
