Angela Joy Pierce, 43, of Coffeen, died on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at her home.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Butler Funeral Home in Springfield, located at 900 S. 6th St. Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following services.
Mrs. Pierce was born on May 3, 1982, in Joliet, the daughter of John and Regina (Burditt) Carter. She married Christopher Pierce on March 16, 2020.
Mrs. Pierce worked in insurance for Hillsboro Health. She enjoyed reading a good book, crocheting and above all, cherished spending time with her family.
Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ara Bailey; maternal grandfather, Mark Burditt; and paternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Carter.
Mrs. Pierce is survived by her mother, Regina; father, John Carter; stepmother, Teresa Carter; husband, Christopher; son, Xayden (Peyton) Flowers; daughters, Madisyn (Alan) Uthe-Carter and McKenna Carter; grandchild, Hank Satterlee; siblings, Joshua and Kelly Jo Carter; grandmother, Joan Burditt; uncle, Brad Burditt; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Dave “Steve” White; and nephew, Steph (Crystina) White.
