Angelina “Angie” Y. DeRight, 99, of Pekin, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, in Pekin.

A private visitation and funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 23, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin.  Private burial was held in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Ms. DeRight was born April 26, 1921, in Panama, to Angelo and Jennie (Vittone) DeRight. She was the oldest of seven children.

For 32 years she was a bookkeeper for the Pekin Distributing Company, retiring in 1971. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, as well as a member of the Ladies of the Moose.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary DeRight of Port Republic, MD, and Alice Kern of Hillsboro; brother-in-law, George Lesicko of New Douglas; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Alvina McCoy, Arlene Hoxsey, Donna Jones and Clara Lesicko; and two brothers, Angelo DeRight, Jr. and Daryel DeRight.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s School Endowment Fund.
