Anthony "Tony" E. Jennings, 42, of Litchfield, formerly of Kewanee, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at his home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home in Kewanee.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Dale Dykstra officiating.

Mr. Jennings was born Oct. 27, 1977, in Kewanee, the son of Michael and Pamela (Slover) Jennings. He married Tanya Clayton on April 13, 2013, in Kewanee, and she survives.

Lovingly raised by his mother and grandmother, Shirley Slover, he attended Kewanee schools. He was a proud union worker, starting out with the Local 309 in Rock Island. He was with the Local 660 of St. Charles, MO, where he was working as a laborer.

He loved a good party, and his laugh and smile could light up a room. He was affectionately known as the Grizzly Bear by his daughters. He was very loyal and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He also loved motorcycles. Most of all, he loved his wife and children, often saying that his wife was his prized possession.

In addition to his parents, grandmother and wife, he is survived by his children, Clayton (Danielle) Evans of Erie, Taylor Evans, Grace Clayton and Faith Clayton, all of Litchfield; three grandchildren, Cayden, Bentley and Liam; siblings, Thomas "Tommy" (Tabitha) Jennings and Heidi Thompson, both of Eugene, OR; aunt, Karen (John) Sokol; cousins, Joey and Chris Slover of Kewanee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glen and June Jennings.

Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
