Ava Failoni, 96, of Eagarville died at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 12:05 a.m.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Monsignor Larry Auda officiating.
Burial will be at Benld Cemetery in Benld.
She was born on May 10, 1918, in Eagarville, the daughter of the late Daniel and Sara (Zamboni) Failoni.
Ms. Failoni was an international receptionist for TWA.
She is survived by her sister, Sandrina Snopko of Hillsboro; nephews, Wayne (Judith) Failoni of Saint Louis, Keith (Lori-Ann) Failoni of Peoria, AZ, and Kevin (Eleni) Failoni of Phoenix, AZ; great-nieces, Marjorie Failoni of New York City, NY, Katie (Herb) Garcia of Chandler, AZ, and Kevyn (Jeremy) Wakefield of Oceanside, CA.
Besides her parents, Ms. Failoni was preceded in death by her brothers, Lebro Failoni and Pensario "Te Te" Failoni; and sisters, Rina Savaris and Ava Failoni in infancy.
