Barbara Ann Rentz, 84, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
A private family memorial will be held this summer.
Mrs. Rentz was born June 7, 1935, in Petersburg, to Regina Sarah (Wilson) Hart and George Byrle Greenwood. She was married to Robert Strowmatt from February 1958 to 1963, and Guy Price, from April 1964 to June 1978. She later married David Rentz in February 2001, and he survives.
She retired from the Department of the Navy (NRaD) in San Diego, CA, on June 7, 1997. She became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Litchfield in 1998.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rentz is survived by her children, David (Marilyn) Strowmatt of Hillsboro, Tim (Donna) Price of Staunton and Bill Price of Litchfield; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Price of Decatur; grandchildren, Jeremy Price, Jim Odle, Rob Odle, Chrissy Semplowski, Zack Bultema, Kim Volentine Lucykow, Aaron Volentine, Billy Sanders, Guy Price, Nick Strowmatt, Sarah Strowmatt Alsop, Jillian Price O’Brien, Evan Price; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nance Tierce of Litchfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Gary Price, Lisa Price Bultema, Lynn Price Sanders and Mike Price; and a brother, Jim Greenwood.
