Barbara Ann Robinson, 73, of Hillsboro, formerly of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 11:15 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family.
Ms. Robinson was born May 26, 1946, in Litchfield, to Ralph Laverne and Mary Isabelle (Small) Campbell.
She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1964. During her career, she worked at Jaeger Beauty Supply Company in Springfield and Care Inn Convalescent Center/Litchfield Health Care Center for 20 years, where she served as housekeeper and office assistant until she retired in 2009.
Ms. Robinson was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church, where she participated in the choir. An excellent singer, she also sang at numerous weddings and funerals.
She was a “Unite” Ambassador of Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She enjoyed macrame, ceramics, crocheting and embroidery.
Ms. Robinson is survived by her son, Walter (Yvonne) Robinson, Jr. of Litchfield; three grandchildren, Anthony (Shamera) Robinson, Ian Robinson and Sydney Robinson; and three great-grandchildren, Keenan Powell, Ryann Robinson and Noelle Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
