Barbara Anita Wolff, 85, of Litchfield, died on Fri., Nov. 8, 2019, at 7:55 a.m. in her home. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, Nov. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. The Rev. Fred Kraemer will officiate, and burial will be in the Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Honey Bend. 

Mrs. Wolff was born on Feb. 11, 1934, in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of Calvin C. and Ethel D. (Turrentine) Hook. She graduated from high school in St. Louis, MO in 1952, and married Marion Louis Wolff on March 21, 1954.  He preceded her in death on July 30, 2009. 

Mrs. Wolff was co-owner of Wolff Oil Inc. with her husband, Marion, in Litchfield, where she was a bookkeeper, and she retired in 2013.

She was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield and was active with the Zion Ladies Aid. A heart transplant recipient in 1997, she volunteered her time with the HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary and she enjoyed reading.

Mrs. Wolff is survived by two sons, Kent (Laura) Wolff of Litchfield and Marty (Alicia) Wolff of Litchfield; one daughter, Karla (Will) James of Seminole, OK; one brother, Ted Hook of Vancouver, WA; two sisters, Claire Gebelhardt of Poplar Bluff, MO and Jean Mueller-Yanaga of Kimball, NE; eight grandsons, Steven (Amy) Wolff, Chris (Caitlin) Wolff, Travis Bishop, Spencer Wolff, Tanner Wolff, Jason (Kim) Blankenship, Nate (Renee) James and Jake (Kelli) James; and ten great-grandchildren, Sophie and Samuel Wolff, Cash Wolff, Ryder Dettman, Layla Blankenship, Brier Colt, Kimber James, Gunner and McKenna James.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Tyson Louis Wolff.

  The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or to the Litchfield Food Pantry.
